FAQ

 

When do you announce your summer line-up?

We will announce our 2017 line-up on April 29th and individual tickets to all concerts go on sale that day.  Early Bird Season Passes for discounted admission to all 8 shows gon on sale October 1st for $199/$249 after December 1st until all 700 passes are gone.  These season passes always sell out before we announce the line-up.

 

What type of seating is there?

All seating is General Admission and is on a first come, first served basis. In front of the stage is for blanket and short lawn chairs, behind that is a section for taller lawn chairs. There is also covered grandstand seating. (venue map)

 

Do I need to bring a lawn chair?

You can bring your own or you can rent low and high chairs for $3. Please be advised that these chairs do not fit in the grand stands. If you plan to sit in the grand stands bring a stadium chair from home or purchase a commemorative Festival stadium chair on site. These chairs are also on a first come first served basis and do have a tendency to run out on show close to or at capacity.

 

Is there food available?

Yes, we have 13 food booths and a bar. You can also bring in a picnic basket/cooler with your own food and drink.

 

What am I not allowed to bring?

No guns, drugs or dogs.

 

I lost/found something at a Festival concert, where should I go?

Lost and found at the venue is located at the Front Gate. After each concert items are taken to the Festival office and held until claimed.

 

What if it rains?

The show will go on rain or shine. For more info please see our “Weather Policy.” Severe weather announcement will be made via Facebook and on our website.

 

I bought my ticket but I can’t make it to the show. Can I get a refund?

No, we do not refund tickets for any reason.

 

My ticket was lost/stolen/destroyed. Can I get a replacement?

No, we are not responsible for lost/stolen/destroyed tickets and they can not be replaced.

 

I left my tickets a home. Can I get a replacement?

You can reprint your tickets through EventBrite.

 

Can I bring a cooler?

Yes, you are allowed to bring in your own food and drink from home.

 

How do I get there?

The venue is located at War Memorial Field at 855 Ontario in Sandpoint. For more information or maps please see our “Where are We” page. 

 

Where do I park?

Parking is located on residential streets around the venue.

 

What time do I get in line?

Depends on how close you want to get to the stage. People tend to line up early in the morning. Please see our “Line Policy.

 

Where is the handicap parking?

Handicap parking is located on Ontario Street in front of the venue and is on a first come first served basis.

 

How do those number things work?

Can I bring my dog?

No, per city ordinance, dogs are not allowed in the venue.

 

What is a “City Parks Fee?”

The city parks fee is a $1 per ticket accessed by the City of Sandpoint on each ticket sold to help maintain the parks.

 

Can I give my tickets to someone else?

Yes, your tickets are 100% transferable including season passes. It must be the original ticket. No scans or photo copies.

 

How come you do not offer youth/senior pricing for all the concerts?

Our Non-profit status and limited venue capacity preclude us from offering youth/senior ticket pricing to all concerts. Youth ticket policy.

 

I am handicapped. Can I get in early?

Yes, you and one other member of your party are allowed into the venue 10 min before the gates open. You must be seated in the handicap seating area and are not allowed to move closer once the gates open. Please see the front gate upon arrival and an usher will help you locate a spot.

 

How do I get seats in the Patron/Sponsor Area?

You can get 2 or more season passes in the reserved seating area with a donation of $1,500 or more. For more information on this opportunity and the benefits please see our “How you can help” page.

 

What time do the gates open?

On Thursday’s, Friday’s & Satruday's the gates will open at 6pm. On family concert day they open at 2:30pm for actiivites & on the grand finale they open at 4:30pm for the Taste of the Stars wine tasting.

 

What time does the box office open?

The box office at Memorial Field opens 1 hour before the gates. 5pm on Thursday’s & Friday’s & 3:30pm on Saturday’s & Sunday’s.

 

My tickets are on “will call,” where can I pick them up?

 All “will call” tickets are held at our office at 525 Pine St. in Sandpoint then moved to the box office at Memorial Field the night of the concert. You can pick them up anytime.

 

Can I put my blanket in the dancing area?

Yes, you are allowed blankets in the dancing area. Just know that it may be trampled once the music starts.

 

Is there an ATM on site?

Yes, it is located at the front gate.

 

Can I park my boat at the Fesitval?

There is a public launch area where you can drop people off but, there is no parking available for boats.

 

Is overnight camping on the sidewalk or Lakeview Park allowed?

Per city ordinance, camping on city sidewalks or parks is prohibited! (line policy)

 

We are from out of town, where should we stay?

There are hotels, motels, RV parks and campgrounds in and around the Sandpoint area. Please see the Sandpoint visitors guide for more info and reservations. (link)

 

Do you have vendors at The Festival?

We do not have craft vendors. We do have spots for 11 food vendors each year.  Applications are available in February and vendors are notified by the end of March.  For an application please email wingnut@sandpoint.net.

 

When do tickets go on sale?

Early Bird Season Passes go on sale each year on October 1st. Individual tickets will go on sale when we announce the line-up in Mid-May.

 

How do I volunteer?

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is allowed only in the designated area. (venue map)

 

Can I purchase tickets through at 3rd party vendor?

Beware of counterfeit tickets.

 

Where can I find a seating chart?

Please see our venue map.

 

Can I take photos?

Most artist have a photograph restriction. Please look for a sign at the front gate.

 

Are gift certificates available?

Yes, you can purchase gift certificates year round for any dollar amount.

 

Can I have input on which artist the Festival brings to Sandpoint?
